Fast and forgiving
Beginners and experienced sailors alike will enjoy a skiff capable of picking up speed in light wind whilst being stable and easy to control. Give it F3-4 and the boat will take off and put a smile on your face like you never had before!
Each float, with 80 litres of buoyancy, provides the same righting moment as an adult on a trapeze. This allows the boat to carry more sail on a narrow planing hull and achieve planing speeds more quickly.
Do not worry if you get over-enthusiastic: the Astus 14.1 is very easy to right. Just stand on a float to make it sink, grab the daggerboard and the Astus 14.1 will come back up by itself. For added safety the Astus 14.1 has blocks of polystyrene foam built in the floats and main hull to make it unsinkable.

Easy to live with
The flared hull and large cockpit provide a dry and comfortable sitting position for two adults. Sitting out on the trampolines is easy and comfortable.
A watertight storage compartment in the foredeck keeps your belongings dry and safe.

Car-toppable
The Astus 14.1 can be easily rigged within minutes and without any tool. The main hull weighing a mere 48 kg, the boat can be easily transported on the roof of your car, with the two-section mast carried easily alongside the boat.
Alternatively a combination trailer with detachable launching trolley is also available. The Astus 14.1 can be towed with the floats either mounted or dismounted.
